With its new Future Portfolios, the Bad Homburg-based investment house FERI offers clients an innovative investment solution that maps future trends with great potential for long-term growth. The FERI Future Portfolios map strategic future topics from the fields of technology, society and the environment. The focus is on strictly selected target funds that invest in a concentrated and directional manner, have an attractive risk-return profile and comply with FERI's sustainability approach.
The FERI Cognitive Finance Institute, which has been analyzing longer-term and systemic developments as a specialized research center within the FERI Group since 2016, acts as a strategic driver in the selection of relevant future trends. "The coming years will bring disruptive changes in many areas. These progressive dynamics are triggering future trends of great significance and thus opening up attractive investment prospects," says Dr. Heinz-Werner Rapp, founder and head of the institute.
The FERI Future Portfolios therefore focus on innovative companies that benefit from global megatrends, drive future developments and offer solutions to global challenges. Emphasis is placed on broad diversification through thematic investments in selected target funds across regions and sectors. It will start with 15 sub-themes from the areas of technology (e.g. artificial intelligence and digital transformation), society (e.g. demographic change) and environment (e.g. blue economy and green energy). "With the FERI Future Portfolios, we offer a transfer of these dynamic future topics into a focused investment solution," emphasizes Magdalena Fest, who played a key role in developing the strategy as the responsible portfolio manager.
